BioI have been writing for many years, however these days I'm writing less and less. I'm interested in all manner of sci-fi and some fantasy; I've written stories for Star Trek, Star Wars, Quantum Leap, Beauty and the Beast (TV show, not cartoon), Lord of the Rings, Firefly, and Doctor Who. In the future I may add Stargate SG-1 and Torchwood to that list. Three of my short stories can be found in a Phantom of the Opera anthology, titled "Phantom Variations: Tales From the World of the Opera Ghost". (Under the pen-name Orianna Duomille. Proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to the Porphyria Foundation.)
I have been sewing since I was four. It began with doll clothes, but quickly expanded to full-sized. My main passion is historic costume, but I sew modern clothes as well. I'm currently working on a collection of historic garments ranging from the mid-1700s to the late 1800s.
Likewise, I have been drawing and painting from a very young age. My grandfather was an artist, and he encouraged me greatly. A painting I did in kindergarten ("Lucy the Leopard") won third place in a regional contest, and I haven't stopped drawing since. I'm currently attending oil painting classes, but I also enjoy sketching, working with colored pencils, and watercolor pencils.
